The Vantaa and Kerava welfare area (VAKE) will have a new billing operator starting from January 28, 2025. The change of operator will not affect customer invoices.
The new services will be available from 7.3.2025. Three mental health and substance abuse stations are set up in connection to the health stations in Tikkurila, Martinlaakso and Kerava. The substance abuse clinics emergency services will end, but the substance abuse unit’s activities will continue
The wellbeing services county of Vantaa and Kerava will 1.4.2025 introduce a business postal code. At the same time the post box numbers for the units will be renewed. The new addresses will be updated on vakehyva.fi at the end of March 2025.

Six regional MyTeams are starting 1.9.2025 in VAKEs oral health care. MyTeams are responsible for no-urgent services of dental care in their area. You get to dental care in the same area where your own health centre is. Residential area defines, which area the MyTeams dental care belong to.
A Kaikukortti pilot project was launched in early 2025 in Vantaa and Kerava. The Kaikukortti allows clients of social, health, or wellbeing services who are in financially difficult situations to access cultural and sports events free of charge.
Employees in the three-year VAKEhyva – Hyvät palvelut project presented successes and results at the HYVAt Messut event in April. The goal with developing services and operating models has been, to give clients faster access to care and support at the right time.
